Canterbury: The match between Sri Lanka Board XI and the Australians ended in a draw on Saturday with an unbeaten century by opener Thirimanne. Sri Lanka Board XI were at 174 for two in their second innings when the match ended. They had scored 258 in the first innings in which Paranavitana scored 49 and Chandimal 59. Copeland took five wickets.
The Australians scored 393 in their only innings thanks to 101 by Usman Khwaja and 104 by Clarke. Perera took three wickets.
