Rawalpindi: The speakers at a seminar held on “The solution to the Problems of Karachi” have said the intervention of Pakistan Army to end the blood shed and prevailing unrest in Karachi has become essential as the civil government and its functionaries have proved that they are not capable of brining back the peace in Karachi.
The seminar was arranged by Pakistan Amn Party on Sunday here in Amn House Peshawar Road, Rawalpindi.
Haji Mohammad Gulzar Awan said the Pak. Army was the only ray of hopes in prevailing blood shed in Karachi and political leadership would never dare to harm their vested interests.
“Only Pakistan Army can take action against elements regardless of their association to bring back the peace in Karachi”, he mentioned. He said the political and monetary interests of all stake holder parties were the main hurdle in maintaining law and order. He also appealed to the people belonging to all sects and areas to help to restore law and order in Karachi.
He further added that the situation could further worsen if not tackled seriously and Pakistan Army should play its constitutional role to safe the country from emerging dangers.
For the sake of greater interest of the country and save precious lives of the citizens, we appeal to the Pak. army to take over law enforcement in the city till the restoration of peace, cleansing the city from illegitimate arms and weapons which seems beyond control of the government functionaries.
