Karachi: At least 17 people were killed among Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) ex-MNA Waja Karim Dad and several others injured as fresh wave of target killing continued in the city on Wednesday.
According to TheNewsTribe’s correspondent from Karachi, PPP senior leader Waja Karim Dad was shot dead in the Kharadar area in the city on Wednesday by unknown men.
Waja was at a restaurant along with friends for Iftar, when unknown gunmen opened fire on him.
He sustained critical injuries and breathed his last at the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK), said police.
Meanwhile, firing erupted in Liyari area after clash with two rival political groups where Two killed and five injured among children.

According to details police found six bodies, stuffed in gunny bags on Wednesday in different parts of the metropolis.
Police said victims were shot at from close range and most of them seemed to be Balochis .
Three bodies were found in the city’s PECHS (Pakistan Employees Cooperative Housing Society) area while one each from the Soldier Bazar, Saddar and Gulbahar areas.
After a brief period of relative calm in Karachi, firing incidents claimed 12 lives yesterday in different areas of the city.
According to a police record, so far, 1,300 people have been killed in the current year.
