Islamabad: All issues between Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Muttahida Qaumi Movemnet (MQM) have approximately been resolved.
Following a high meeting between President Asif Ali Zardari and Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan in Islamabad on Tuesday, it is expected that now MQM would rejoin the federal and provincial government within 48-hour, sources said.
According to the sources in the first phase MQM would be given three portfolios in federal government and one ministry in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir each. While in the Sindh cabinet the ministries would be allotted according to Qouta system.
MQM sources have also indicated the positive signals in this regard.
They also discussed Karachi situation and local government system in the meeting.
MQM ministers would not take oath of their ministries as their resignations were not accepted yet.
