Bhakkar: A Pakistan Air Force jet fighter F-7 crashed in Bhakkar district of Punjab, killing one and injuring two, including a lady co-pilot on Monday.
According to PAF spokesman, the plane was on routine training flight and crashed near Hasan Wala area, some 90 kilometer from here. He said that the lady co-pilot injured while ejecting from the aircraft. Two locals were also wounded in the crash and later one of them identified as Tanveer was succumbed to injuries.
The injured were shifted to Mianwali PAF Hospital for treatment.
Eyewitness said that a blast apparently of fuel tank was heard before the crash. The PAF spokesman said the incident occurred due to some technical fault.
