Islamabad: Pakistan’s Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued an official notification for increase in CNG prices by 13.55 percent on Sunday.
According to OGRA notification, the CNG prices has been increased by Rs. 10 and now it will be sold on Rs. 66.42/kg.
The OGRA notification described that the latest increase in gas prices will be implemented on all types of consumers but fertilizers, feed stocks and Liberty Power have been exempted from it.
After the latest notification, CNG’s new price in Potohar Region will be Rs. 66.44 per kg while in Sindh and Punjab it will be sold on Rs. 63.11 per kg and these new prices have been implemented immediately.
After Prime Minister’s approval, yesterday (Saturday) a recommendation was sent to OGRA for issuance of an official notification for increase in gas prices.
