Rawalpindi: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) raided the Haji camp passport office in Rawalpindi on Friday and arrested five agents including two workers on the charges of making fake passports.
According to a private TV channel, on the special directives of Interior Minister Rehman Malik, the FIA conducted a raid at Haji camp passport office in Rawalpindi and arrested three agents Zahid Kashmiri, Rizwan and Abdul Qadir and two workers LDC Bilal and Assistant Malik Bashir.
According to Inspector Tahir Tanveer, the police recovered four passports, Rs 17,000 cash, identity cards, tokens of passports, birth certificates and stamps of officials of grade 17.
The forgers were making fake passports and demanded Rs 50,000 to Rs 70,000 per passport. The police have filed a case against the agents.
