Islamabad: President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari held a meeting with Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan on Friday and discussed overall situation of the province.
President Zardari gave a reception to Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan at President House in Islamabad and discussed with him political situation of the province, especially unrest in Karachi.
Sources said that the governor also discussed Commissionerate System in Karachi.
Earlier, Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah in Karachi said that senior leaders of Pakistan People’s Party and Muttahida Qaumi Movement were in contact. He hoped that the talks would make some progress.
Senior Sindh Minister Dr Zulfikar Ali Mirza said that he was so oppressed that he was not allowed to talk to media.
