Bahawalpur: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that the government is taking all the political parties on board to resolve the Karachi law and orderĀ issue.
Talking to media here on Thursday, the prime minister said that President Asif Ali Zardari had been given mandate for reconciliation and talks with other parties to maintain law and order in Karachi.
Replying a query about MQM chief Altaf Hussain’s statement regarding stocking up on ration for a month, the premierĀ said he did not mind Altaf’s statement.
“We have asked Sindh Governor that we want to work jointly” he said, adding that Altaf Hussain will also be taken on board regarding Karachi situation.
Gilani said that he directed the authorities concerned to end unannounced load shedding in the country.
The prime minister said that several projects had been initiated for production of electricity.
He pledged that Bahwalpur would be linked with Motorway soon.
