Quetta: Chief of Army Staff Gen Ashfaq Pervez Kiani said that no operation was being carried out in Balochistan.
He said that the Inter Services Intelligence (ISI), Military Intelligence (MI) and army has nothing to do with the tortured bodies being found in the province.
The army chief said maintaining law and order was the responsibility of the provincial government and the army would assists the government in this regard.
Speaking at Quetta Institute of Medical Sciences , Kiani said that the army would not let any stone unturned in helping Baloch people to get their rights.
He added that Balochis were patriotic people and the stable Balochistan was a base for stable Pakistan.
Kiani said,” we have great past and a bright future was our destiny”.
