Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister’s nephew, Mir Akmal Raisani, who was killed in a blast on Friday, was laid to rest in his native Kank twon on Saturday.
The funeral prayer was attended by Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Mohammad Aslam Raisani, Senator Lashkar Raisani and Siraj Raisani (Akmal’s father) and others. His body was taken from Sarawan House in Quetta to Kank where he was buried in his ancestral graveyard.
Strict security measures were made during the funeral.
He was killed in blast followed by severe firing with automatic weapons here in a football ground on Friday evening.
