Karachi: The state bank of Pakistan has announced the new monetary policy for the next two months.
The state bank has reduced the interest rate from 14% to 13.5 %.
The interest rate has been reduced by 50 basis points to 13.5%. This was announced by the acting governor of the State Bank of PakistanYaseen Anwar.
The Central Bank hadearlier leftthe rate unchanged at 14% on May 21.
