NEW DELHI: Ajmal Amir dubbed as Kasab by the Indian media will be appealing against his sentences in the Supreme Court of India.
He would be approaching the court for his death sentence to be overturned, a court source told AFP on Friday.
“He filed the appeal through the Arthur Road jail authorities,” the source said.
He is the only surviving attacker from the 2008 Mumbai attacks that killed 166. He was earlier convicted for being involved in Mumbai attacks and sentenced to death four times by the Indian court.
