Islamabad: Federal Investigation Agency of Pakistan refuses to provide the e-mail’s password of Saleem Shahzad who was assassinated two months ago.
Justice Saqib Nisar of the Supreme Court of Pakistan chaired the meeting of the Saleem Shahzad murder commission.
The FIA informed the commission that the family of deceased would have to contact a foreign company to get the password of Saleem Shahzad’s e-mail.
Talking to the media after meeting, Federal Information Secretary Taimur Azmat said that the FIA Cyber Crime had informed that they were unable to get the password and Saleem’s family would have to contact the service provider to get the password.
Azmat said that he had recorded the statements of journalists Imtiaz Alam and Qamar Yousafzai, while Absar Ala would present its statement in the next meeting of the commission. He said that Islamabad IG Binyamin briefed the meeting about the progress of the case.
PFUJ President Shaukat Pervaiz told the media that the commission had summoned the doctors who conduct autopsy of Saleem.
