Karachi: Despite the decrease in electricity shortfall, long hours of load shedding continue.
According to Geo news, Electricity shortfall in the country has decreased from 5,581 MW to 4,703 MW.
The PEPCO spokesperson said that electricity generation is 13,974 MW while demand is 18,677 MW. Yet urban areas are facing over 10 hours of load shedding while the rural areas over 16 hours of load shedding.
KESC on the other hand has announced increase in hours of load shedding to 10-12 hours. Technical faults are not being addressed.
The long hours of load shedding are making life difficult for the masses.
