Islamabad: The Supreme Court on Monday sought detailed report into the National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) scam case from Attorney Generak Maulvi Anwarul Haq.
An SC bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the case. The court also sought Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani’s comments over the NICL scam.The CJ asked AG to submit competent authority’s reaction into the case. “Enough is enough now the court will take the case seriously” he remarked.
The court also issued notice to Interior Minister Rehman Malik regarding Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Additional Director General Zafar Qureshi posting. The CJ remarked that the apex court was showing restraint.” We did not want to create mess ” he added.
