Damascus: Millions of Bashar al-Assad supporters held a rally in favour of their beloved president in Syrian capital Damascus.
Hundreds of Lebanese women also participated in the rally.
A large number of people having national flags and placard with the president’s snaps shouted slogans for their beloved leader. Many of them expressed their enthusiasm by dancing.
About 300 women especially came to from Lebanon to participate the pro-government rally.
It is worth mentioning that approximately 1,500 people have lost their lives during four months while crackdown against anti-government elements is underway in various areas.
There is a lot of international pressure on Bashar al-Assad for stepping down, following the massive anti-government demonstrations.
