Karachi: The residents of Musa Colony staged a massive protest against one week long power cut.
Demonstrators blocked Karimabad Road in protest. The residents said the load shedding continued for one week in the area. The protesters also said that residents of the area were facing miseries owing to unscheduled and long power failure.
Enraged protesters hurled stones on police mobile and also burnt tyres.They also destructed electric signals.
Two people including a woman got injured during the protest.
There followed a traffic jam after the protest and many people got stuck on Karimabad Road.
