Karachi: Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik on late Thursday said that targeted action would be carried out in Pakistan’s financial hub Karachi against miscreants without any discrimination.
While talking to media persons at Karachi Airport, the interior minister said that he has confirm information and google’s snaps of terrorists who want to destabilize Pakistan.
Malik said, “I feel no difference between terrorist and Taliban.”
He said 1000 Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel would be deployed in Karachi in sensitive areas. Rangers and police have also been mobilized in the metropolis, he added.
He said was in Karachi on the direction of president and prime minister of Pakistan to maintain law and order situation in the city. All political parties should come forward to restore peace in Karachi.
The federal minister said strict action would be taken against mistreats, and he promised that all the arrested accused would be shown publically.
He appealed citizens to support government for maintaining law and order situation in the metropolis.
Malik alleged that terrorist want to sabotage Karachi’s peace. He said everyone wants peace and for this we have to know our enemies.
He said those who want to destabilize Karachi were same as destabilizing Pakistan.
