Karachi: The Awami National Party (ANP) has hailed the Interior Minister Rehman Malik’s statement regarding deployment of the Frontier Constabulary in the metropolis.
ANP spokesman Qadir Khan said that his party appreciated the FC deployment in Karachi to bringĀ peace.
Interior Minister Rehman Malik while talking to media at the Karachi airport on late Thursday night said that as many as 1000 FC officials would be deployed in the worst affected areas of the city in addition to heavy deployment ofĀ police and the Rangers.
Malik arrived in Karachi on the directions of the President Asif Ali Zardari, following a carnage in the metropolis that claimed lives of more than 70 people during last three days.
