Peshawar: At least three people were killed and as many injured when a mortar shell landed in a house in north western tribal region, sources said on Thursday.
The sources said that the incident took place in Upper Kurram tribal region near Afghan border, however it was yet not clear whether the mortar was fried by militants or the security forces.
It is to mention here that the military launched an operation against the militants on Sunday, landing troops in the area backed by paramilitary forces , military and Pakistan Air force.
