Quetta: The Balochistan High Court on Thursday directed the government to produce complete report into the killing of Baloch leader and Jamhuri Watan Party (JWP) chief Nawab Akbar Bugti.
A division bench of the BHC comprising acting chief justice Jamal Mandu Khel and justice Hashim Kakar was hearing the case.
The bench annoyed over the non-seriousness of the government into the case and told additional attorney General “you even don’t know cause of Bugti’s assassination”.
“You have only two witnesses in the case and if they died the case will abolished” justice Hashim said.
The bench noted at least 50 people were killed after the death of Nawab Bugti. The CJ reprimanded the attorney general saying he was ridiculing the court and whole the nation.
The cleric, who led the funeral prayer of Bugti and one of the witnesses into the case appeared before the court and told that he had never seen the face of late politician after funeral prayer.
The court direct the government to produce complete report into the murder otherwise the court would issue orders in this regard.
