Muzaffarabad: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has filed a petition in the Azad Jammu Kashmir Hight Court (AJKHC) againstĀ the alleged rigging in the recent elections.
MQM leader Tahir Khokhar on Tuesday filed the peition on the behalf of his party. Later on, talking to media he said heĀ hoped stay orders will be released by June 30.
Meanwhile, a division bench of The Sindh High Court (SHC) started hearing into the petition filed by the MQM, requesting that election on LA-30 and LA-36 be immediately held.
The SHC directed the AJK election commission to issue a notification in this regard. The court directed the applicant to move AJK High Court in this regard.
