Lahore: The probe commission setup by the government to investigate the killing of journalist Saleem Shahzad met under the chairmanship of its head and the Supreme Court judge justice Saqib Nisar here on Monday.
Others who attended the meeting were its members, including Federal Shariat Court Chief Justice Agha Rafique Ahmed and Pakistan Federal Union of Journalist (PFUJ)’s president Pervez Shaukat. Inspector General Punjab Police and Islamabad Police were also present on the occasion.
The commission in its first meeting discussed how the investigation be carried out into the killing of Shahzad.  The meeting decided to publish an advertisement in the local newspapers to invite those who wanted to get their account recorded regarding Shahzad’s murder.
