Karachi: Former Governor Sindh, the financial hub of Pakistan, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan who recently tendered his resignation, has left for Dubai via flight no EK-607 on late Monday, from where he would fly to London to meet Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain.
While talking to media persons at Karachi Airport on late Mondy, Dr Ebad said, “I am leaving for London on the direction of Altaf Hussain, but cannot certainly said when I will come back to Pakistan.” MQM chief would decide his future plan, he added.
He said he was governor on the wish of Altaf Hussain and now, he was leaving his post on his direction.
Speaker Sindh Assembly Nisar Khauro would now be the acting Governor Sindh and he would take oath on Tuesday, The News Tribe correspondent reported from Karachi.
