Kabul: Two Afghan police officers were killed in the most recent air raid conducted by the US-led NATO forces in Afghanistan’s southern province of Kandahar.
The air raid is NATO’s fourth nightly attack over the past three days, a Press TV correspondent reported.
Authorities estimate eight civilians have been killed in these attacks.
However, eyewitness reported the causalities 28 civilians.
The US-led air raids have strained ties between Kabul and Washington.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai has frequently condemned the killing of civilians by US-led NATO troops.
Numerous rallies have also been held throughout Afghanistan to protest against such attacks.
The war in Afghanistan, with civilian and military casualties at record highs, has become the longest war in the US history.
