Islamabad: Pakistan Peoples Party’s senior leader and former law minister Babar Awan said on Wednesday that PML-chief’s Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Azad Kashmir was a blow to the Kashmir cause.
Awan while talking to media here said that President Asif Ali Zardari’s statement about Nawaz was a truth, adding that the former prime minister was on a mission to destroy the country’s institutions.
He said that the PPP did not believe in political victimization and not confronted with the institutions rather it was on way to strengthen them. Awan added that the PML-N had lost support of all the political parties and was isolated.
He said when Nawaz got heavy mandate he victimized the then chief justice of Pakistan, the president and the chief of army staff.
