Shakargarh: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Sunday said that dialogue was the only solution to resolve disputes, saying that Pakistan wants to have good relations with its neighbours.
Addressing a public meeting here on Monday after inaugurating development projects, the Prime Minister said that war was not the solution to any dispute. The prime minister said he met many times with Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and convinced him that all bilateral issues, including Kashmir could be resolved through dialogue and not through war.
The Prime Minister said, “Pakistan wants a permanent and lasting solution to the Kashmir issue through dialogue and negotiations.”
He said Pakistan would convince the international community that the Kashmir issue should be resolved according to the aspirations of Kashmiris.
