Quetta: A man was killed and 12 others were injured in blast near Girls Degree College in Quetta here on Monday.
Police and security forces rushed to the spot and shifted the dead and injured to Civil Hospital. Bomb Disposal squad also reached to the spot and was collecting evidences to ascertain nature of the blast. Sources said that the blast was planted in a car parked near the college and was apparently detonated by a remote control, killing one and injuring a dozen others. The sources said half a dozen nearby shops were also damaged in the blast . The hospital sources said identities of the dead and injured were yet to be ascertained. Police cordoned off the area and conducted a search operation in the area following the blast.
