Islamabad: Chairman Senate Farooq H Naek has directed concerned authorities to provide security and protection to the cameramen, who made video of the extra judicial killings of Kharotabad incident in Quetta and Ranger firing incident in Karachi.
It is to be mentioned here that the cameramen who made video and brought facts before the nation are facing life threats. On Friday, journalists covering the session of upper house of the parliament staged walk out from the house to protest the threat being hurled at the brave and daring journalists.
Federal Minister Khursheed Shah came to the protesting journalists and assured them of protection and security. The cameraman of a Karachi-based TV Channel, who grabbed the gory image of the extra judicial killing by Rangers in Karachi, also turned up during the Senate session.
