Islamabad: Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam-F Chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman has said that the government has not consulted him over the offensive against militants in North Waziristan and other tribal areas of Pakistan bordering with war torn Afghanistan.
In a joint press conference with Prime Minister Azad Jammu Kashmir Sardar Atiqque Ahmad Khan, Rehman said operation in northwest region has been conducting on America’ demand. He had no objection on Abbottabad commission, he said.
He said that he supported the election alliance between Jamiat Ulma-e-Islam and Muslim Conference in AJK polls.
Speaking on this occasion, AJK Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmad Khan reiterated the early solution to the Kashmir issue.
