Earlier on Monday, Ahsam and Bhopanna beat Kazakhstan’s Andrey Golubev and Uzbekistan’s Denis Istomin 6-3, 7-5 in the third round of the event.
Rohan Bopanna and Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi are now at number five in doubles team rankings.
Top seed Bob Bryn and Mike Bryn of USA beat Russia’s Temoraiz and Kazakhstan’s Mikael Kokashkan by 7-6,7-5 in third round on Monday.
