Belfast: Pakistan white washed Ireland by 2-0 after beating second one day international by five wickets at Civil Service Cricket Club, Belfast on Monday.
Pakistan chased the total of 239 runs in the 49th over for the loss of five wickets.
Younus Khan scored 64 runs while Umar Akmal scored 60 runs not out. Azhar Ali scored 39 runs while Misbah-ul-Haq and Taufeeq Umar scored 32 and 31 runs respectively.
Boyd Rankin, Trent Johnston, John Mooney, Alex Cusack and Kevin O’Brien shared one wicket each.
Earlier, Irish captain William Porterfield won the toss and chose to bat first. They scored 238 runs for the loss of eight wickets in allotted 50 overs.
Paul Stirling scored 109 runs while Gray Wilson scored 33 runs. Alex Cusack scored 26 runs while Ed Joyce and William Porterfield scored 17 and 17 runs respectively.
Saeed Ajmal grabbed four wickets while Junaild Khan got two wickets and Mohammad Hafeez took one wicket.
Paul Stirling was declared man of the match owing to his brilliant century.
