Islamabad: Pakistan Defence Minister Ahmad Mukhtar was neither seen after the Abottabad incident nor after attacks on Pakistan Navy’s three buses, not even after the attack on PNS Mehran in Karachi on Sunday.
The sources said that two meetings of defence committee have been held within last 15 days but Pakistan Defence Minister was yet to be seen.
Bundles of question have been raised in Pakistan that is Pakistan’s Defence Minster Chaudhary Ahmed Mukhtrar has resigned, and Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has also taken the charge of defence ministry.
It is being said that Pakistan Foreign Minister’s post is already on vacant and now federal defence minister is also displaced.
People of Pakistan demanded that if rulers could not protect national security then they should allocate high expenditures of defence ministry for Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) so that poor people would get benefit from it, the sources said.
