Washington: Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will visit Pakistan on Thursday.
During her visit she will meet Pakistan’s military and political leadership to ease the tensions between the two allies.
She is visiting Pakistan at a very critical stage when the militants have intensified their attacks after the killing of Osama Bin Laden.
It was being rumored that she would cancel her visit in the wake of Osama’s discovery and subsequent killing in Abbottabad. The US President Barack Obama has also issued a reconciliatory statement prior to Hillary’s visit, saying US would continue cooperation with Pakistan.
