St. Kitts: Pakistan scored 180 for the loss of six wickets at the end of first day of second and final test match against West Indies at the Warner Park in St Kitts on Friday.
The rain affected first day of the second test came to an early end due to poor light conditions.
Pakistan’s captain Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and bat first but that decision seem to play in the hands of West Indies as they took four early wickets.
Opener Taufeeq Umar could only scored 11 runs and Muhammad Hafeez scored eight, while Asad Sahfiq failed to score before being bowled out. After lunch, Misbah was bowled out as he could only add 25 runs to the total.
Azhar Ali scored 67 and Umar Akmal 56 as they little supported the Pakistani batting line up. The day concluded with Muhammad Salman on eight and Abdul Rehman with one run as Pakistan totaled 180 at the loss of six wickets.
For the West Indies, Ravi Rampaul grabbed 3 wickets while Darren Sammy and Devendra Bishoo shared one wicket each.
