Karachi: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) , Khawaja Saad Rafique, has said that his party sent names of impartial personalities having impeccable integrity for the constitution of the independent commission, saying that hopefully the commission would be constituted soon.
Addressing a press conference, the PML-N leader lashed out at the provincial government for what he says rampant corruption and deteriorating law and order situation in the province. Â He demanded constitution of a probe body to investigate the looting and embezzlement by General Musharraf and Sindh government.
He did not spare the coalition partners of the government and harshly criticized them for alleged corruption.
Khawaja said that extortion was rampant in Sindh including Karachi. He asked the government ‘not to make fun of’ country’s sovereignty and integrity anymore. Instead, the government should share with the nation the road map to get rid of the foreign powers’ subjugation. PML-N wanted to eradicate provincial and ethnic prejudices and wanted to cerate harmony among the people of the country, he added.
