Guyana: West Indies scored 209 runs for the lost of nine wicket on the first day of first Test of two-match series against Pakistan at Providence Stadium, Guyana on Thursday.
West Indian captain Darren Sammy won the toss and chose to bat first.
Lendi Simmons scored 49 runs, while Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Darren Bravo scored 27 and 25 runs respectively. Ramnaresh Sarwan, Ravi Rampaul, Darren Sammy and Smith scored 23, 14, 12 and 13 runs respectively, while Cemar Roach and Devendra Bishoo were on the crease on 16 and 10 runs.
Saeed Ajmal grabbed four wickets while Mohammad Hafeez and Abdur Rehman shared two wickets each. Wahab Riaz took one wicket.
