Guyana: Pakistan will face West Indies in the first Test of two-match series on Thursday in Guyana.
Misbah-ul-Haq will lead Pakistan in the series while fast bowler Omar Gul and middle order batsman Azhar Ali have joined Pakistani team. Taufiq Umar, who missed the two-day practice match, is expected to be included in the final 11.
Meanwhile, two experienced West Indian players Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Fidel Edwards will join West Indian side back.
West Indies has never lost a Test series against Pakistan on their soil.
Six Test series have been played in West Indies, out of which four won by home side while two series were drawn.
Last time the two teams faced each other in 2005 when Pakistan suffered a 1-0 defeat in a three match series.
