Karachi: Traders and citizens have been facing problems owing to prolonged load-shedding due to dispute between Karachi Electricity Supply Company (KESC) and Labour Union.
According to details, by making invalid grounds of Labour Union’s protest, KESC authorities have started unscheduled load shedding across the city, therefore, the citizens and traders have been facing acute troubles. The traders and citizens burn tyres and staged protest on Tariq Road, Saddar and Regal Chowk protesting against the unannounced power outage. The infuriated persons also blocked roads and raised slogans against KESC.
However, when officials of law enforcement agencies tried to stop the protestors they exchanged hot words and wrangled with each other, but, after talks with the administration the protestors dispersed peacefully.
While the KESC administration blamed that the suspension of electricity is all because of obduracy of the Labour Union and therefore, people have been facing difficulties.
At the other hand Labour Union criticized KESC administration that they want to sell out KESC by kicking out permanent workers, but they ( Union) would not allowed them to do so.
