Washington: Obama administration allowed members of the Senate Intelligence Committee and Senate Armed Services committee to watch photos of Osama bin Laden’s corpse.
United States President Barack Obama has ruled out release of the graphic kill photos, but the CIA invited the selected senators to view the images. Special room has also been selected to show the photos of Osama’s body.
The move comes as a handful of news outlets and advocacy groups have filed Freedom of Information Act requests to force the Obama administration to release the photos, the Atlantic Wire reports.
