Lahore : Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif on Monday, in his first media interaction since the killing of al-Qaeda chief Osama bin Laden, termed the operation a blow to Pakistan’s sovereignty .
He said the country would be exposed to severe threats if due action was not taken to steer the country out of the circumstances triggered by incidents like Abbottabad operation and release of Raymond Davis.
“The whole nation is worried about the US operation,” he said, adding that he has convened a party meeting to discuss the situation.
The elder Sharif had been staying in London for treatment since March. He arrived in Lahore on Friday.
