Washington: Four members of US Republican Party have presented a draft, demanding to stop financial assistance to Pakistani after Osama Bin Laden shot dead in Pakistan.
According to the content of the draft, Pakistan should assured the US in written content that Pakistan did not knew that Al Qaeda Leader Osama Bin Laden was hideaway in Pakistan. Financial assistance to Pakistan should be closed if they were not given write off assurance to the US regarding Bin Laden issue, the draft said.
Meanwhile, Chairman US Senate Armed Committee Carl Leon accused that it is impossible that Pakistan did not know about the presence of Osama Bin Laden’s presence in their country. A few Pakistani leaders knew about Bin Laden’s hideaway in Pakistan, he alleged.
At the other hand, Spokesman Department of State said that US forces are in Pakistan on their request. Cooperation between both the countries, to curb terrorism is in the larger interest of US and Pakistan, and ties between the US and Pakistan not in danger, the spokesman added.
