Islamabad: United States has to stop drone missile attacks in the northwest region of Pakistan at every cost, a US newspaper quoted a Pakistan’s military official as saying.
According to the Pakistani official, deadlock between Pakistan and the US would keep on if the US drone attacks were continued in the tribal region of Pakistan, the newspaper reported.
The officials said that strategic ties between both the countries could not be restored despite top military leadership of both the countries unless the US stop drone strikes in Pakistan.
He said US drone strikes were obstacle between the both countries, and CIA would have to stop its activities in Pakistan. It is the need of the hour that new strategy would restore between both the countries.
The officials further told the newspaper that Pakistan has its own targets and it would use all resources to achieve targetsŰ”
It is worth mentioning here that US top military leader, Admiral Mike Mullen called on Chief of Pak Army and Joint Chief of Staff Committee one to one but talks were not released publically.
