Islamabad: Pakistan’s former foreign minister Shah Manmood Qureshi on Thursday said that some Pakistani politicians have put in danger the country’s integrity and they have blind for their rules.
He said government of Pakistan had mishandled the Raymond Davis, a CIA agent and killer of two Pakistani in Lahore on January 27, case. He said people have been killed in Waziristan instead of getting freedom to Kashmir, the disputed territory between Pakistan and India.
It is pertinent to mention here that Qureshi had refused to take charge of Water and Power ministry instead of foreign ministry two months before when Pakistan government had decided to reshuffle the cabinet. His stance regarding Davis was crystal clear that Davis had no immunity because his passport was not diplomatic.
