Mumbai: Former Australian spinner Shane Warne has wished to coach World Cup winner Indian side after Gary Kirsten stepped down on Tuesday.
The spin legend said it will be tough for India to find a suitable replacement of Gary Kirsten as the team won mega event after 28-year long period under Kirsten coaching.
He said Kirsten steered India to World Cup glory and the side also became the number one Test team under his guidance.
Warne is one of the greatest bowlers in the cricket history. He retired from international cricket in January 2007. In March 2008, Warne signed to play in the Indian Premier League, where he played the roles of both captain and coach.
