Islamabad: Pakistani security agencies have secretly obtained data of over 3200000 persons from National Database and Registration Authority who have changed their marital status, address, photo and signatures, NADRA sources say.
NADRA sources told that these persons have made these changes during the last 8 years and NADRA rules allow such changes as well.
Among these persons, 1802787 persons have changed their addresses, 1013682 their names and over 383,000 have changed their photos and signatures. The intelligence agencies have collected the data so that they may ascertain if any one of them is not involved in any terror act.
This data has been provided secretly with security viewpoint as most of the changes in regard to name have been made after 9/11. Details have been provided to national assembly public accounts committee in this respect.
As per available record of NADRA 2774000 persons who were bachelors 8 years before now are married and their marital status has been changed.
