Lahore: Following the massive protests against the release of Raymond Davis, a CIA agent and killer of two Pakistanis, District government Lahore has imposed section 144 in the city.
Davis was released on March 16 by a Pakistani court through a Diyyat Law (blood money) deal.
Almost all the political and religious parties, student organizations and civil society in Pakistan staged massive protests across the country against the release of Davis.
They criticised federal and Punjab government and ISI for the release of Davis. They said that all are involved in the deal. The protesters asked that where the affected members have gone?
