Srinagar: In disputed Kashmir, an Indian trooper has committed suicide by shooting himself at an army camp in Baramulla district.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the trooper identified as Havildar Sudhkar of 32 Rashtriya Rifles committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle at Coy Headquarter in Watergam Dangiwacha area of the district. This raised the number of such deaths among Indian troops and police personnel in the disputed territory to 209 since January 2007.
On the other hand, wife of a trooper was burnt alive in a mysterious fire at her residential quarter in Gulmarg.
