Karachi: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement would boycott Sindh Assembly session today in protest against Zulfiqar Mirza’s diatribe , said a statement issued here on Monday.
The statement said that the MQM would also boycott the lower and upper houses of the parliament.
Coordination Committee of the MQM in the statement alleged that Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza was patronising criminal element in the metropolis.
Miraza in a public meeting on Sunday had said that the Peoples Peace Committee(PPC) was not a criminal organistion, adding that if the PPC was the criminal than he is also a criminal.
The MQM in the past had expressed its reservations over the PPC role in Karachi, saying that the group was involved in the criminal activities.
